The first leg of your adventure leads you on a 2-hour uphill trek to the stunning Humantay Lake. Its teal, electric waters are a sight to behold, and your guide enriches this experience with fascinating insights into glaciers, Andean topography, and local worldviews.
After capturing the lake’s beauty and descending for 45 minutes to Soraypampa, the trail veers left towards Salkantaypampa. This segment, adorned by rugged mountains and the imposing Salkantay snow-capped peak, is a feast for the eyes.
