Ananiso has a beautiful landscape created millions of years ago through natural forces.
It is located in the district of Pitumarca, constituting one of the natural wonders that evidences the pluvial erosion of millions of years that have formed these canyons. It consists of a narrow passage cut between two mountains, channeling the Ananiso River belonging to the Pitumarca River basin.
Located at 4000 meters above sea level, whose landscape is varied with regular flora and fauna. From the canyon, you can see the Ausangate Mountain. To complement the visit, you can see cave paintings crossing the Llamanpampa river.
