Pallay Poncho is a beautiful mountain located in the limits of the districts of Layo, province of Canas, and Maranganí, in Canchis, less than three hours away from Cusco. The mountain is a beautiful formation with natural colors similar to the Vininkunka mountain or the Mountain of Seven Colors, which is between the districts of Pitumarca (Canchis) and Cusipata (Quispicanchi).
Pallay Poncho is less than three hours away from the city of Cusco. The natural attraction is characterized by being a geological formation of rocks with sharp points and with various colors similar to the ponchos used by the Andean settlers.

Today, we will pick you up in our private transport from your hotel, and then we will travel south of Cusco to reach the Layo community, it takes around 3.5 hours to get there, and once we arrive at Layo Community we will enjoy our delicious Breakfast which will be prepared by our cook, after breakfast we will begin our adventure to the mountain, the path is uphill so it will take us at least 2 hours to reach this beautiful mountain.
Once we arrive at the mountain, we will have enough time to rest, there you will have the best section of photos with your guide, who will also explain you all about the orography, geography of the place and the importance of these mountains for the local people.
After making the visit, we will return along the same path down to our mobility, then we will go to the Layo district where a delicious local lunch will be waiting for us. Subsequently we will return to the city of Cusco arriving at you hotel around 6 pm.
