Humantay Lake + Machu Picchu Trek - 2 Days

If yours is enjoying nature and trekking, the combination of Humantay and Machu Picchu is ideal for you. Humantay is a snow-covered mountain that is part of the Andean mountain range and gives rise to the formation of this splendid lagoon that generates the interest of foreign and national visitors due to its unique turquoise color. The walk to the place will make you feel a sense of peace and tranquility thanks to the natural beauty that you will come across.

With a mystical air, the lagoon is visited by shamans and tourists from all over the world to leave offerings to the Pachamama, a deity representing Mother Earth in Inca culture.

According to the residents, the Humantay mountain is the youngest son of the Apu Salkantay. They would be in charge of rationalizing and distributing the water that comes down from its snow to the populations that live at the foot of these impressive snow-capped mountains.

Of course! During the tour to Machu Picchu, your main luggage can be stored in our office or at your hotel. Both of them are free.

Can I change departure date after the Confirmation of the tour?
