Every single day we walk of approximately 6 hours.
Is it necessary to acclimatize?
It is definitely mandatory to acclimatize before doing this route, remember that you will walk until you pass 5000 m.s.n.m and this demands a lot of physical and emotional effort especially for those who are not accustomed to hiking at high altitude. If you have the opportunity you can do your gradual acclimatization by visiting high places like Puno or stay in Cusco at least 2 days.
Is there horse rental?
If you have trouble walking on this trek, we recommend you rent a horse (there are horses in the camp), remember that the horse cannot take you all the time since there are very steep descents for which you must get off the horse and then continue on foot .
Are we going to be the first ones at Rainbow Mountain?
Yes, because our camp will be near the mountain of Vinicunca.
