Tour Itinerary

Explore our expertly designed itinerary below, crafted to showcase breathtaking views and provide unique adventures every step of the way.

Day 1: Cusco to Humantay Lake and Ichu Pata

We warmly usher our esteemed adventurers from the comfort of their Cusco accommodations into a world of Andean splendor. A scenic drive brings us to Mollepata, where you can savor a morning meal and sample local cuisine. Fully satiated, we’ll proceed to Soraypampa, our trailhead, to meet the unsung heroes of the trek—the horsemen who’ll handle our camping logistics.

Today’s marquee attraction is the mesmerizing Humantay Lake. Imagine crystal-clear, emerald waters framed by towering glaciers, a breathtaking canvas painted by Mother Nature herself. This surreal setting offers an abundance of photographic opportunities, as well as a chance for quiet contemplation.

Concluding our lake visit, we amble back to Soraypampa for a palate-pleasing lunch. The panoramic backdrop of Salkantay Mountain only enhances the culinary experience. Revitalized, we ascend to our first encampment at Ichu Pata, where a warm cup of tea and a multi-course dinner await as the sun dips below the Andean peaks.

Achieving this summit is both a physical feat and a spiritual experience, rewarded with expansive vistas of the Vilcanota mountain range, a majestic sea of peaks and glaciers.

Our descent takes us through serene valleys to Sisaypampa, a prime locale for sighting the regal Andean Condor. A well-earned lunch prepares us for the final trekking leg to Pampa Cahuana, where you can relish a hot tea and a scrumptious dinner under a blanket of shimmering stars.

Begin your day with a chef-prepared breakfast before meandering down to Wayllabamba. En route, we pause at Paucarcancha, an archaeological relic that whispers tales of Incan history and culture. The hike continues to Llulluchapampa, where porters join us, shouldering our burdens as we venture deeper into the classic Inca Trail.

Relax and recharge at the Llulluchapampa campsite, a haven in the wilderness. The day culminates in a soothing tea session and a hearty dinner crafted with love by our expert culinary team.

Today’s agenda unfolds with a climb to Warmiwañusca Pass, colloquially known as Dead Woman’s Pass. We’ll descend to Pacaymayo, a valley lush with flora and fauna, where a sumptuous lunch awaits.

The trail then snakes its way to Chaquicocha, skirting ancient ruins enshrouded in verdant foliage. As the sun lowers its fiery gaze, we’ll huddle around cups of hot tea and feast on a lavish dinner prepared with local ingredients.

Greet the morning with an invigorating breakfast, fortifying us for the hike to the archaeological marvel of Phuyupatamarca. Following a well-earned lunch, we push on to Wiñayhuayna, named ‘forever young’ in Quechua.
